"More enduringly than any other sport, wrestling teaches self-control and pride.
Some have wrestled without great skill - none have wrestled without pride."
                                                                                                                         -Dan Gable

The Clark Crusader Recreational Wrestling Program helps to build the enduring values of excellence, perseverance and discipline in Clark and Garwood youth. Through wrestling, kids develop strength, balance, flexibility, endurance and most importantly, confidence in their abilities. These attributes are the basis of all competitive sports...and also essential ingredients for success in life.

The program is open to youth ages 5-12 of all skill levels - from those without any wrestling background to highly skilled wrestlers.  All children are matched to others with similar skills.

Experienced coaches offer personalized instruction to nurture talent and motivate children to reach their individual and team goals. Our wrestlers have grown to compete at the highest levels of county and state competitions.  The program has also prepared youth for the Middle School, Junior Varsity and Varsity programs.

The program is a not-for-profit organizations that is run entirely by community volunteers.
